The Comic Book Club gathers to appreciate both mainstream comic publishers like DC and Marvel, but also discover and gain a deeper understanding of Indie Comics, as well as independent creators. This is not limited to screenings, debates, discussions, or simply sharing interesting reads. We also hope to take a deep dive into the process of making comics, and all the people involved, along with its history. Above all else, the goal is to create a safe environment for fans of all kinds of comics.

30in60 is a sketch comedy troupe original to Florida State's campus that relies on sketch-writing, workshopping, and in-show improvisation. In a random order that the audience decides, we perform 30 original sketches in 60 hysterical minutes, making the audience chuckle, giggle, laugh, hoot, holler, and repeatedly slap their hands together in delight. The troupe races against the clock to bring the people 60 minutes of hilarity with sketches about wacky characters or silly stories. But if the clock ticks past the hour, the audience gets a prize! We gotta go fast, so be on your toes for when a member calls, "Scene! The AcaBelles are Florida State University's only soprano-alto a cappella group. Since being founded in 2000, these women have been redefining female a cappella with their fierce choreography, killer vocals, and innovative arrangements. The 18 singers come from various backgrounds and individual styles to create a unique blend and commanding presence in the Tallahassee a cappella community. The group recently achieved international success with their cover of a certain regal chart-topper, catching the eyes and ears of CNN, Good Morning America, and Lorde herself. Since then, the 'Belles have traveled to numerous gigs, placed 3rd in 2024 ICCA Quarterfinals and raised funds to record a variety of albums, EPs, and singles, including Clarity, Bloom, Phases, Wavelength, Seamless, Rebel, Dimensions, and Pretty Hurts now available on Spotify, iTunes, Apple Music, and Loudr.
The purpose of AcaBelles is to promote soprano-alto a cappella singing, and to raise awareness of a cappella throughout the Florida State University and its surrounding areas.

ABOUT THE CLUB
The Action Shooting Club at Florida State University promotes safe firearm handling techniques through shooting sports. Ranked as one of the top collegiate teams in the country, the Club competes in various shooting sports including SASP, USPSA, and IDPA. Club firearms and ammunition will be provided for use during practices and team guns will be provided during competitive matches. Club practices will focus on firearms fundamentals, safe weapons handling, competitive shooting techniques, and will utilize both paper and steel targets.
Admission to the Club is open to all experience levels. Members of the Action Shooting Club are also eligible to receive discounts with many of our amazing sponsors within the firearms industry.

Albums in Review at FSU is a student organization that brings music lovers together to experience and discuss albums in a similar way to a book club, focusing on novels. All-Night Yahtzee was created in the fall of 1998 by Brian Haverkate, motivated by his ambition and passion for music. Thus, All-Night Yahtzee was born, and was recognized as the first aCappella group in Florida State University's history. The group held its first concert in the spring of 1999, and thus, aCappella music was born at FSU.
Since our beginning, we have continued to evolve and flourish into one of the oldest and most notable groups in the nation. All-Night Yahtzee has attended many competitions and conventions, including NACC, SoJam, BOSS, Betsy, and even ICCA, the international aCappella competition. We have received many awards at these competitions. They stand as a testament to our hard work, and guidelines to elevate our sound and look. Aside from our competition presence, we pride ourselves on also remaining present in the recording world. We have produced many albums and singles, and in the summer of 2019, we released our new album, Reign. The album was nominated for 3 CARA awards.
Outside of competitions and recording, All-Night Yahtzee hosts a series of concerts and events around campus, as well as gigging throughout the community. We tour Florida every winter and spring, stopping at all our favorite cities and many of our hometowns. Aside from all the craziness of traveling, we were also featured on the Pitch-Perfect reality TV series, Sing It On on Pop Network.
Our members come from different places, musical backgrounds and interests, but when blended together we bring great music, entertainment, and a great time. All-Night Yahtzee holds annual Fall Auditions at the very beginning of the semester, and will occasionally hold spring auditions. We welcome everyone! Purely professional organizations have their place, and Alpha Chi Sigma constantly encourages its members to become active in these organizations. Social fraternities also offer much to students. But only a professional fraternity – and Alpha Chi Sigma is the only national professional chemistry fraternity in the United States – can provide the college student and the professional in chemistry and related fields with the interests and bonds of a fraternity.
The purpose of Alpha Chi Sigma is reflected in the Three Objects of the Fraternity, which express the true ideals of all its members:

Alpha Chi Sigma is one of a kind. Following the original concept for a fraternity as an academic organization, we are the only professional chemistry fraternity. More than 100 years old with more than 70,000 members, we bring together men and women pursuing a wide variety of chemistry-related careers.
Our past is prestigious. Not only are many of our members world-class scientists and engineers, but we sponsor a variety of scholarships and awards. Notable ones are the ACS Award in Pure Chemistry and the AIChE Award in Chemical Engineering. With our involvement in other chemistry and chemical engineering professional organizations, our members are a bridge between these various organizations.
Collegiate members benefit from a local group to not only help with their studies but also projects and activities that teach the roles of leadership and management. We also provide an opportunity to create lifelong friendships with others interested in chemistry. Sometimes it's just nice to walk into a room and be able to tell a chemistry joke.

Alpha Delta Phi is a Greek-letter social college fraternity and the fourth-oldest continuous Greek-letter fraternity in the United States and Canada. Alpha Delta Phi was founded on October 29, 1832 by Samuel Eells and includes former U.S. Presidents, Chief Justices of the U.S. Supreme Court and U.S. Senators among its 50,000+ alumni. Founded on May 15th, 1851 at Wesleyan Female College in Macon, Georgia, Alpha Delta Pi holds the distinction of being the first secret society for women and the mother of today's sorority system. On May 30th, 1904, 11 inspired women came together at Syracuse University to create Alpha Gamma Delta. A part of the Syracuse triad, Alpha Gamma Delta is now an International women's fraternity with chapters all over the continental United States and in Canada. The Gamma Beta chapter at Florida State University was officially chartered in 1925, making it one of the oldest chapters at Florida State University.
Bound by our Purpose, the women of Alpha Gamma Delta strive to live up to the high ideals that our founders set forth. We encourage our members to hold themselves to a higher standard than the average college woman. As Alpha Gams, we push one another to excel in the areas of academics, leadership, service, and above all, sisterhood. We value diversity of thoughts, passions, and ideals and are always striving to continue expanding our horizons as members of the Florida State community.
Through community service and awareness efforts, there’s no doubt that Alpha Gams are impacting the world. alpha Kappa Delta Phi International Sorority, Inc. was established on February 7, 1990 at the University of California, Berkeley by 14 dedicated women. It has since grown to over 55 chapters throughout the United States and Canada, making it the largest, fastest growing, and only internationally recognized organization of its kind.
The purpose of the sorority is to promote sisterhood, scholarship, leadership, and Asian-awareness in the university and community while encouraging the expression of the individual.
The Florida State University Associate Chapter of alpha Kappa Delta Phi was established in the Spring of 2001. We are soon to celebrate our 22-year anniversary on campus and in the Tallahassee community. aKDPhi at FSU is a full member of the Multicultural Greek Council as well as the Asian American Student Union, and is heavily involved in both.

Our Alpha Pi chapter at FSU encourages us to live out these values daily. As one of our founders Stella George Stern Perry explained, "We cared so profoundly for one another that we unconsciously desired a society based upon original feeling... In an effort to exemplify our truly fraternal values, Alpha Omicron Pi supports the philanthropic efforts of the Arthritis Foundation. Alpha Phi Omega is a National Co-Ed Service Fraternity whose three main principals are Leadership, Friendship, and Service. Unlike other fraternities, Alpha Phi Omega does not have a house on campus and places an emphasis upon service: for the chapter, campus, community, and country. We also have a strict no-hazing policy, one that is upheld by our national board. The Iota Rho chapter at Florida State was founded in 1951 and reinvigorated in 1989 and has since remained consistently active on the campus. We began with simple projects, like installing bike racks and hosting a textbook exchange for students. Since then, our service has grown to all reaches of Tallahassee, with some projects reaching a national scale.

Some recent projects include:

We also host social events throughout the semester. While service is a huge aspect of this organization, we also ensure our members are given the opportunity to become lifetime friends.
One unique aspect of this organization is the power given to every individual. If there is a cause you want to support or an idea you want to share, you can. You can make your own projects, even when just beginning in the organization. Every member is a leader at all times.

The purpose of this fraternity shall be to assemble college students in a national service fraternity in the fellowship of principles derived from the Scout Oath and Scout Law of the Boy Scouts of America; to develop leadership, to promote friendship, and to provide service to humanity; and to further the freedom that is our national, educational, and intellectual heritage.

The American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics is a professional organization whose mission is "to address the professional needs and interests of the past, current, and future aerospace workforce and to advance the state of aerospace science, engineering, technology, operations, and policy to benefit our global society."
The FAMU-FSU Student Chapter of AIAA exists to provide its members with professional and scholastic development during their tenure as college students. The American Marketing Association (AMA) is the world's largest and most comprehensive professional marketing society. Our AMA chapter here at Florida State is currently ranked #4 out of 320+ collegiate chapters internationally.

Membership within the American Marketing Association at Florida State University provides students the opportunity for professional development, practical marketing experience, and insights into the industry from current marketing professionals. Along with industry-specific speakers at general body meetings, we also plan local agency tours, corporate travel tours, recruiter socials, and have unique opportunities such as Case Competition and Seminole Solutions.

The Collegiate Case Competition is a semester-long project that our team comes together on to strategize solutions for a detailed marketing problem submitted by a sponsoring organization. AMA members work to develop a marketing strategy in this nationally recognized competition and compete for a chance to present at the International Collegiate Conference in Chicago.
Seminole Solutions is a unique asset of the AMA as the only student-run marketing agency at Florida State. Our members work with real clients to gain hands-on marketing experience in an agency that most college students don’t have going into their first interviews.

In addition to the professional side of the organization, the AMA also works to serve as a community for its members to support, encourage, and become resources for one another. We actively hold socials and encourage networking at AMA events.

Together, the AMA, FMA and CMS play an active role in shaping the future of medicine.The AMA, FMA, and CMS offer an amazing opportunity for medical students to join a network of health professionals and resources to help them excel as physicians, public health practitioners, and leaders within their communities. As a member of these organizations, students are given the tools to be kept informed of current and pressing health issues and policies. Members also enjoy numerous opportunities to win scholarship money and honors. Several times a year, students are able to travel to regional and national AMA/FMA conferences and partake as voting delegates, award recipients or simply as inquisitive members. Through these conferences, students are able to interact with fellow medical students and prominent physicians from all across the nation and learn about important health care topics and how individual medical students can make a difference.
FSU College of Medicine’s AMA/FMA/CMS chapter offers many opportunities for students to get involved on campus, in Tallahassee and on the state and national levels. With the State Capitol and FMA headquarters nearby, students are able to personally intermingle with State legislators, sit in on Senate committee meetings and attend receptions and dinners with influential physicians and lawmakers. In addition, with 7 campuses and a voting delegate at each campus, FSU COM has the largest voting power in the State, giving us a great edge at national AMA meetings. All students are encouraged to submit resolutions at these meetings. FSU COM’s AMA/FMA/CMS chapter is also active in community service events, including the Annual Cover the Uninsured Week and AMA National Projects- these projects change yearly with past headlines being Anti-Tobacco Education and Get-Healthy Project. And of course, FSU COM’s AMA/FMA/CMS chapter holds monthly lunch meetings at the College of Medicine with local physicians and leaders as guest speakers.

Game Committee is a group that creates unique gaming events that take place at the Askew Student Life Center. They also select the games available for rental from the ASLC Cyber Café. The building has an array of gaming PC's with several titles available for use such as League of Legends, Overwatch, and Counter Strike, as well as several gaming consoles from different generations. Our main focus is planning several gaming socials each month to take place in the Cyber Café, main theater, and around the ASLC.
Game Committee has also helped the Child's Play Charity by hosting an annual Nole's Play for Child's Play Fundraiser.

The Bike Club at FSU is a student organization that provides a space for people with a love for biking to get together and do what they love most- bike! We are a hobby cycling organization that welcomes all skill levels on our Tallahassee rides! Our weekly rides are on Friday and range from 5-8 miles, we meet by the Landis Green fountain at 4:40 pm, and have bi-weekly bike rides that have longer mileage (10-45). Through creative LEGO building moments, where we bring FSU students and neurodivergent children together in a space that celebrates individuality, sparks joy, and fosters genuine friendships. Many of these kids face challenges in finding social connections, and something as simple as building with LEGO bricks becomes a powerful shared language. The Buddhist Student Association at FSU is a registered student organization at Florida State University.
The purpose of the Buddhist Student Association at FSU is to serve the Florida State University and the surrounding community by organizing Buddhism-related activities on or around the FSU campus. These events include community service, meditation, camping retreats, community building, and education.
The BSA will be guided by the following principles:

Support the study and practice of all authentic Buddhist traditions
Support education about Buddhism from both academic and spiritual perspectives
Promote community service that shows Buddhist ideals in action

The first skill meditators learn is how to relax the body gradually while maintaining a correct posture. Then we learn to relax the mind and breath. Once we have a relaxed body, relaxed attitude, and natural breath we give our mind to a method. There are many methods that we explore in Chan/ Zen. There is mindfulness of the breath, silent illumination: awareness all the activities of the body as they arise and pass away, and also counting the breath. These are the methods of concentration used to sharpen and clarify our awareness. The method we use to develop a compassionate state of mind is loving-kindness meditation in which we genuinely wish for ourselves to be happy/ healthy/ safe/ and at peace, our family to be happy/ healthy/ safe/ and at peace, our friends to be happy/ healthy/ safe/ and at peace, neutral people we don't know to be happy/ healthy/ safe/ and at peace, people we dislike to be happy/ healthy/ safe/ and at peace, and lastly sending love to all beings with an open heart. The concentration practices are meant to increase our awareness of different bodily and mental states. Any mental affliction that comes up in the mind can also be understood and diminished through steady practice. The exercises of compassion bring us closer to a state of equal love for all beings and help us learn to send love to categories of people that we are not used to sending love to.

Camp Kesem is a national nonprofit organization that provides a free week of camp to kids with a parent affected by cancer. Students will be responsible for planning camp programs, recruiting campers from the community, fundraising, and reaching out to our Florida State campus! As stated, we are a chapter of a national organization, and there are over 100 chapters (different schools) involved! Camp Kesem FSU works to create a fun environment while also allowing the opportunity to show your leadership skills! This can be done by joining a committee, getting involved on our coordinator board, or showing leadership at camp, if chosen as a counselor! We have committee meetings every other week, and general body meetings every two weeks. We also have multiple fundraisers, socials, and other events to attend throughout the semester! Cares Society at FSU is a dynamic medical student organization devoted to helping the underserved and underprivileged populations both locally and internationally. Our mission is to provide health services, including medical care, education, and counseling to those people who would not otherwise have access to care while providing an interactive, clinical learning environment for FSU College of Medicine students.

We pride ourselves on local outreach because we realize that there are people who are in desperate need of medical help right in our own backyard! FSUCares has established a partnership with local organizations such as the Leon County Health Department, Neighborhood Health Services, the Bond Clinic, and the Tallahassee Shelter. Some local activities include setting up health information and screening at the Migrant Health Fair in Gadsden County, caring for patients at the Neighborhood Health Services Clinic, and establishing monthly health screenings at the local Homeless Shelter.

Our international and state medical outreach focuses on rural villages in Filipinas, Panama, and the underserved populations at the Texas-Mexico border and Immokalee, FL. The goals of our medical outreach programs are to focus on the unique public health factors that influence different regions of the world in order to expose and prepare future doctors for the ever-changing face of medicine and society.

Our philanthropic events benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation, an organization dedicated to granting the wishes of children with life-threatening medical illnesses.

In striving to accomplish this mission, the Chapter shall be guided by the ten purposes set forth in Art. I of the national CLS bylaws and by the LSM Threefold Ministry Model, which entails three interrelated activities to be carried out by the Chapter:
- Cultivating spiritual growth through communal prayer, fellowship, and worship; learning to share one's faith; and devotional study of the Bible and classic Christian works.

We exist to provide a safe and secure environment for climbers of all skill levels to practice and advance. We also provide instruction in a variety of climbing techniques in hopes of our members representing Florida State University at outdoor crags and competitions across the nation.Climbing Club at FSU calls for meetings when needed, usually on Landis Green or Alchemy Climbing. Announcements will be made on Instagram and GroupMe. We also hold Climb Nights every THURSDAY at Alchemy from 7-10 PM. If you want to confirm any of our meetings or events, please contact us through Instagram, GroupMe, or email.If you're interested in joining our competitive team try outs are every fall semester. The Clinical Psychology Graduate Student Association (CPGSA) is composed of graduate students and faculty across research labs and cohorts within the Clinical Psychology doctoral program. The Association serves as a forum for collaboration, professional development, and exchange of ideas to enhance the quality of research, clinical training, and education within our program.
The CPGSA promotes scholarship and practice that reflect the diverse interests and professional goals of our students and faculty. Our initiatives aim to strengthen training experiences, support student-led research, and foster connections within the department and the broader professional community.
The Association also supports efforts to ensure that our program provides an inclusive and supportive environment for students, faculty, and clients. We seek to cultivate professional growth and cultural humility that members can carry into their future academic, clinical, and research settings.
The CPGSA includes several branches, such as outreach and research, which organize programming, events, and initiatives throughout the year. Our activities are supported by the department, university, and external organizations.

A student run non-varsity intercollegiate baseball team. We play in the NCBA Division 1 league in the spring. We have seen tremendous success as of late, appearing in 4 of the last 7 NCBA Division 1 World Series tournaments, 8 time regional champions, and winning the National Championship in 2022.

The purpose of the Baseball Club at FSU is to bring together students from Florida State who enjoy the sport and want to play competitively.The objectives of the Baseball Club at FSU is to compete in competitive environments and to promote baseball around the Florida State campus.

What is Club Downunder/Union Productions?
Union Productions is FSU’s student-run programming board! Over fifty students oversee every aspect of the organization: from planning, producing events, marketing, and promotions, to sound production and hospitality. This means that a dedicated group of FSU undergraduates orchestrates everything that goes into making Union Productions’ events fantastic — from booking performers, to setting up dressing rooms, to coordinating audio-visual requests, to advertising lineups.

Union Productions provides captivating, inclusive and enriching entertainment for Florida State University. To foster student leadership and professional development, we empower students to cultivate their own events, ranging from concerts, comedy and lectures to special events, all of which are student-run from inception to completion.
What is Club Downunder?
Club Downunder is FSU's very own on-campus entertainment venue! Named one of Consequence of Sound's 100 Greatest American Music Venues in 2016, Club Downunder has been around for decades in this location and its stage has been host to many great names in entertainment history. At Club Downunder, you will find indie, punk, hip-hop, dance, drag, jazz, improv, standup, and everything in between. Club Downunder is always free for FSU students, so be sure to keep an eye out for upcoming events.

A Brief HistoryIn the mid-’60s the first student-run programming board at Florida State University was created, the Union Program Council (UPC). Around 1970 the board changed its name to the Leisure Programs Office (LPO), and the name changed again in 1979 to the Union Program Office (UPO). Finally, in 1983, the organization changed its name to Student Campus Entertainment (SCE) and remained that way until 2005. Over the years the organization has been responsible been responsible for planning PowWow, the films series (in Moore Auditorium), major concerts in The Moon and Civic Center, the operation of the Club Downunder, late night programming initiatives, and many different special events.
As the organization has grew and as new facilities on campus were created, a few of those responsibilities changed (i.e. the Student Life Building programming the film series in its state-of-the-art theater in 2000, the Club Downunder becoming its own entity to plan club concerts in 2001, and PowWow becoming it’s own organization as well in 1999). In the fall of 2005, the Club Downunder programming board and SCE were joined together once again to form Union Productions, one programming board responsible for all special events and concerts planned by the Oglesby Union.

Annual Intern All Call
At the beginning of every Fall semester, we hold our annual Intern All Call! Interning with Union Productions is a great way to get involved with our unique organization. Positions in programming, hospitality, PR, sound production, and event staff will provide you with interactive exposure to a fascinating industry.

Club Flag Football at Florida State is a flag football team for FSU students. This team will have the opportunity to travel and compete with other collegiate flag football teams across the nation as well as local teams. We will focus on teamwork and learning the different components of the game while striving to reach our full potential. This team-based environment will improve the skills of the players not only on the field, but off the field as well. Our goal is to create an enjoyable, safe and competitive outlet for all students participating in our club team.

The purpose of this club is to provide a competitive gymnastics opportunity to students at Florida State. The club serves to bring gymnasts together to form a great competitive team to compete in NAIGC meets against other clubs around the nation. Practice is two hours two to three times a week at International Gold Gymnastics.

An association of students at Florida State passionate about sailing. We cover all aspects of sailing from teaching the basics to competitive racing. No experience is required to join our recreational club; we teach beginners how to sail. We compete as a part of the South Atlantic Conference (SAISA) of the Intercollegiate Sailing Association (ICSA), sailing against schools across the nation. We currently have a fleet of twelve 420s which we sail at Lake Bradford, more commonly known as the FSU Lakefront Park. Follow our Instagram @fsusailingclub to stay up to date with the club and team!

FSU College Democrats seeks to advocate and educate the student body on the ideals and goals of the Democratic Party. In addition our organization seeks to Get Out the Vote and provide Voter Registration opportunities consistently across campus. The College of Communication & Information Student Leadership Council will serve as a liaison group between the student body, the Dean of the College and the alumni of the College of Communication and Information and the Florida State University. Additionally the Student Leadership Council will help cultivate alumni engagement from each and school and major within the college. CCI-SLC will facilitate various activities, meetings, workshops and other events to improve unity among the 3 colleges while working to provide students with professional development and networking opportunities.

WHAT WE DO:
The Student Leadership Council is composed of discipline-specific, exemplary social science students who work directly with the college administration to provide a student perspective in deciding and implementing the goals and initiatives of the college. The council creates and oversees beneficial programming for students in an attempt to improve opportunities for personal and professional growth and to advance the College of Social Sciences and Public Policy and achieve the goals of the Dean's Office. Members may work on different committtees to help plan events, service and professional development opportunities, and conduct outreach for the council.

MISSION STATEMENT:
The COSSPP Student Leadership Council works to improve the lives of students in the college through providing professional development opportunities, facilitating a mentorship program, hosting service events, and creating a community within the college. The purpose of the Collegians for Christ Campus Ministry is to provide an extracurricular activity to those students and/or faculty interested in a more in depth study of the Bible in a Christian environment that welcomes discussion and questions. Collegians for Christ does not focus on a worship service but rather a relaxed Bible study setting where students can engage deeply in studying the Bible. Collegians for Christ provides opportunities for students to participate in Christian growth in the areas of study, prayer, fellowship, witness, and missions.

CMA is open to all majors and helps students prepare for a successful transition into the retail industry through presentations, activities, trips, and guest speakers. The Collegiate Merchandising Association is affiliated with Clutch Magazine- the university’s oldest fashion publication.
