The Great American Smokeout is a national event hosted by the American Cancer Society to enourage people who smoke to make a plan to quit or limit their use. We anticipate having around 125 students present. Since this event takes place during class hours, we won't be using any amplified sound. In the case of incelement weather, we will let attendees know that we will be moving inside to HWC 2500 through social media (Instagram, GroupMe, etc).
Food Provided (We are ordering from Sonny's BBQ. We will be ordering brisket, bbq chicken, green beans, mac and cheese, bbq beans, corn bread, and garlic bread. They will also provide us with gallons of their sweet tea, unsweet tea, and lemonade. They will be delivering the food to us.)
