The purpose of this Chapter is to develop and maintain a vibrant Christian law student presence on campus, enabling its members, individually and as a group, to love the Lord with their whole beings--hearts, souls, and minds--and to love their neighbors as themselves (Matthew 22:37-40). To that end, the Chapter will:

• Cultivate spiritual growth among its members through communal prayer, fellowship, and worship; learning to share one's faith; and devotional study of the Bible and classic Christian works.
• Show the love of Christ to the campus community and the community at large by proclaiming the gospel in word and in deed, such as through a life of integrity and charitable good works; as Martin Luther put it, "to be as Christ to our neighbor.”
• Address the question, "What does it mean to be a Christian in law?" that is, learning to submit every aspect of one's calling in the legal profession to the Lordship of Jesus Christ.

The Federalist Society for Law and Public Policy Studies is a group of lawyers and law students, primarily conservatives and libertarians, interested in the current state of the legal order. It is founded on the principles that the state exists to preserve freedom, that the separation of governmental powers is central to our Constitution, and that it is emphatically the province and duty of the judiciary to say what the law is, not what it should be. This group is the Florida State University chapter of the Federalist Society. Our primary purpose is to investigate and educate on topics related to the issues above. Our primary method to achieve this is through debates, panels, and other speaking events. We also attend regional and national conferences for our own education. We provide -- and take advantage of -- opportunities to network with other chapters and associated professionals. And, not to be diminished, we have fun together in and out of the classroom.

Mobilizing and mentoring new lawyers and scholars is a long-term strategy that will build capacity, vision, and leadership for a more successful reproductive justice movement. Reproductive justice will exist when all people can exercise the rights and access the resources they need to thrive and to decide if, when, and how to create and sustain a family with dignity, free from discrimination, coercion, or violence. We dedicate ourselves to ensuring access to medically accurate, age-appropriate, culturally competent sex and sexuality education, as well as comprehensive, quality reproductive healthcare, including prenatal care, postnatal care, contraception, abortion services, and alternative reproductive technologies for all people, free from coercion, discrimination, and violence.
