The Beta Psi Chapter of Alpha Kappa Psi at The Florida State University is a concentration of motivated and success-oriented business students. We have the common objectives of professional preparation, development, and success.
Members are prepared to excel in “real world” business by providing opportunities to develop leadership, organization, time management, and speaking skills. Through networking, resume writing, career assistance, and professional workshops, members are continually building their business skills and furthering individual growth.Alpha Kappa Psi. the largest and oldest coed Professional Business Fraternity, presents essential tools necessary to enrich the professional and social aspects of college life outside of the classroom. Membership in the Beta Psi Chapter provides valuable benefits and personal growth, both professionally and socially. Community Service work with Heart Walk, Relay for Life, and the local community is also a large focus for the Brother members.

The American Marketing Association (AMA) is the world's largest and most comprehensive professional marketing society. Our AMA chapter here at Florida State is currently ranked #4 out of 320+ collegiate chapters internationally.

Membership within the American Marketing Association at Florida State University provides students the opportunity for professional development, practical marketing experience, and insights into the industry from current marketing professionals. Along with industry-specific speakers at general body meetings, we also plan local agency tours, corporate travel tours, recruiter socials, and have unique opportunities such as Case Competition and Seminole Solutions.

The Collegiate Case Competition is a semester-long project that our team comes together on to strategize solutions for a detailed marketing problem submitted by a sponsoring organization. AMA members work to develop a marketing strategy in this nationally recognized competition and compete for a chance to present at the International Collegiate Conference in Chicago.
Seminole Solutions is a unique asset of the AMA as the only student-run marketing agency at Florida State. Our members work with real clients to gain hands-on marketing experience in an agency that most college students don’t have going into their first interviews.

In addition to the professional side of the organization, the AMA also works to serve as a community for its members to support, encourage, and become resources for one another. We actively hold socials and encourage networking at AMA events.

The Business Case Club at FSU is an organization within the College of Business that trains students to read and analyze business cases, and present solutions to real-world business problems. Although the organization is in the College of Business, it is open to all students. We will be engaging in critical-thinking and public-speaking activities to enhance the presentation skills of students. Throughout the semester, students will collaborate with peers on multiple mock business cases to strengthen their team-building and leadership skills. Finally, at the end of each training cycle, students will be presented with opportunities to represent FSU at external competitions.

Delta Sigma Pi is a professional fraternity, organized to foster the study of business in universities; to encourage scholarship, social activity and the association of students for their mutual advancement by research and practice; to promote closer affiliation between the commercial world and students of commerce, and to further a higher standard of commercial ethics and culture and the civic and commercial welfare of the community.
In addition to the series of Professional, Community Service, and Social events hosted, Delta Sigma Pi also offers corporate tours and leadership conferences that will give students a leg up on others in terms of networking and leadership development.

The Consulting Group at Florida State University is a premier, student-operated consulting firm serving businesses and organizations across the United States.

Our team, comprising top-tier students from the College of Business, collaborates with an advisory board bringing decades of operational expertise. By leveraging our diverse student backgrounds and business acumen, we provide clients with data-driven solutions and innovative strategies.
We work with for-profit and non-profit companies over the course of each semester (Fall and Spring). Each semester we take on 2-4 different client projects, and you meet with the client every other week. In the off weeks we meet as a full group where we give client updates, work on deliverables, and figure out what the next steps should be in the project. Project teams are made up of 1 project lead and 5-10 consultants. The Group lets students take on real clients, solve real-world business problems, and add real value to the companies they work with.

The Student Leadership Council will enrich the College of Business environment and represent the entire College of Business student body interest. The Student Leadership Council will be composed of 40 highly motivated, discipline-specific business students who meet regularly to facilitate communications and further their goals of the College of Business and the College of Business Board of Governors.Serving as a subcommittee under the Board of Governors, the Student Leadership Council shall consist of the following members: President, Executive Vice President, Vice President of Operations, Vice President of Programming, Vice President of Communications and Development. The College of Business Dean and an Executive Committee Advisor will be linked with the council as a means of providing necessary input. The council will be made up of declared business students.

II. The purposes of the organization are to:
a. Create a social environment for professional development.
b. Provide opportunities for members to advance their knowledge of the real estate industry through professional activities and contact with practitioners.
c. Provide opportunities for social contacts and mutual encouragement of the members toward achievement of their career goals. The purpose of the Real Estate Society is to provide opportunities for members to enhance their knowledge of the Real Estate industry through firsthand activities and contact with Real Estate professionals in a variety of fields. RES meetings are generally held every week or so during the fall and spring semesters. Each meeting will typically feature a professional speaker (in such a field as appraisal, development, lending, law, investment, brokerage, consulting, design, or construction), a professional development workshop, or a social event. Each meeting will last approximately one hour and is usually followed with a social activity. Corporate Tours are organized by the Society each semester. These trips are designed not only to allow the members to gain firsthand knowledge from respected professionals in the industry, but also to help introduce members to potential employers. In recent semesters, the Society has traveled to Tampa, Orlando, Jacksonville, Atlanta, Charlotte, New York, and Miami to visit major developers, property managers, fund advisors, appraisers, REITs, brokers, leasing agents, and more. The locations and travel dates of each trip will be determined during RES meetings early in the semester.
